R₀ calculator for compartmental epidemic models

R0Calc is a free web calculator that computes the basic reproduction number R₀ of a compartmental epidemic model as a symbolic formula. Draw the infection diagram of a model: infectious and non-infectious compartments joined by new-infection, transfer and outflow arrows, with LaTeX rates such as β, σ or μ + γ. R0Calc returns R₀ in LaTeX and shows how each infection cycle contributes to it.

Unlike next-generation matrix calculators, you do not type the matrices F and V: the formula comes from the drawing. For the SEIR model, for example, R0Calc gives R₀ = βσ / ((σ + μ)(γ + μ)).
